TIPS FOR A SUCCESSFUL JOB INTERVIEW
- Before the interview:
- Research company/industry.
- Investigate/Identify skills the company is looking for.
- Practice your interview/Rehearse sample interview questions.
- Look the part. Dress appropriately. Your appearance will create a first impression.
- During the interview:
- Arrive early.
- Greet interviewer with an enthusiastic handshake and smile.
- Listen closely to questions. Ask for clarification if question is unclear.
- Keep answers concise and to the point.
- Sell your product—YOU!
- Be prepared to ask questions of the interviewer.
- Follow up with a written thank you to the interviewer.
