SALARY GRADE: E7($44,637-$59,513)         REPORTS TO: Slot  Manager

LOCATION: Carter Lake, IA



Responsible for the overall repair and maintenance of all electrical and mechanical slot machines under the direction of the Slot Performance Manager.



  • Responsible for the floor repair and proper preventative maintenance of all slot machines, including cleaning machines, overhauls, etc.
  • Responsible for the repair, overhaul, and proper preventative maintenance of all electrical and mechanical slot machines in accordance with gaming regulations.
  • Handles the initial set-up and check out of new slot machines.
  • Assists the Slot Performance Manager in the break down, relocation and reset up of machines and stands to be relocated.
  • Assists Floor People in verifying jackpots and fills as needed.
  • Assists in ensuring machine integrity when jackpots occur and at other times requested.
  • Knowledge of local jurisdiction gaming laws (Federal, State, etc.) and attendant regulations as well as the company’s internal controls, policies and procedures.
  • Maintains a consistent and regular attendance record.
  • Brings disputes and unusual customer activities to the attention of the Shift Manager.
  • Maintains the highest level of confidentiality.
  • Must be able to maintain appropriate Gaming License.
  • Promotes positive customer relations through prompt, courteous and efficient service.
  • Assist in other duties and projects as assigned.
  • Outstanding example of and a credit to Prairie Flower Casino.

High School diploma or GED required. Electronics experience and/or degree preferred.


Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write simple correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees of the company.


          Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s.

Ability to perform these operations using units of American money.

          REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but       uninvolved written or oral instructions.  Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete          variables in standardized situations.
