The Ponca Tribe of Nebraska Domestic Violence Program would like to invite the community to a showering of “Wind River” in honor of Native American Heritage Month. “Wind River” is a story that features a U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service tracker and an FBI agent who try to solve a murder on the Wind River Indian Reservation in Wyoming. The film raises awareness of the high number of Indigenous women who are raped and murdered, both on and off reservations. Food will also be provided to attendees.
